Caleb spent 14 years working at the edge of athletic recovery — first as a competitive swimmer, then in physical-therapy-adjacent research with collegiate and Olympic-track athletes. He built his first cold plunge in his Portland garage in 2018 and has personally tested every commercial chiller and tub he could get his hands on, usually by buying them anonymously to avoid manufacturer pressure.
